The Age of Aquarius, Ognjen Pavkovic
To call for revolution is to call for death. I don’t mean death as in murder (not exclusively, at least #FreeLuigi), but rather a death to the circumstances that got us to this point.
Death to exploitation, death to greed, death to rigidity, death to the ego. It is only through this carving and gutting of our current reality that we can create one worth living in. In addition to this process taking an unquantifiable amount of time, it will also require the revolutionaries involved to effectively surmount any challenges they face, no matter the cost.
This reframing has changed my entire worldview, in the sense that I now ponder things from an aerial perspective rather than immersing myself in hyper-individualized situations or discussions. Every disagreement or conflict or setback brings us closer to our ultimate goal: a world where humans are not exclusively valued because of their outputs, but rather simply because they have breath.
I’ve realized that my commitment to this work stems from my true and undying love for life. Having sentience and existing simultaneously alongside other sentient beings is a never-ending gift, and I believe that this on its own makes life worth preserving.
However, it’d be foolish and generally incorrect to say that the ones you love aren’t capable of causing you pain, frustration or sadness, or to posture as if lately, this whole “life experience” thing hasn’t been making me want to scream. It’s exhausting and maddening and frustrating beyond belief. But it is also unequivocally worth saving. Never in history has there ever occurred an instance where it was impossible for two things to be true simultaneously.
As a Libra sun, I constantly find myself seeking to hold space for opposing viewpoints or differing perspectives. No one person holds the key to all knowledge. Our unique experiences and findings can only be crafted once we have absorbed enough from our surroundings. However, it’s up to us to take note of when toxic perspectives are consuming too much space and subsequently tilting the scales of existence toward destruction and depravity. There is no known method to properly eradicate the doom that lurks around the corner; we must instead choose to, with all our might, flee the other way into prosperity.
Pluto’s foray into Aquarius, where it will remain for nearly 20 years, provides the ripest conditions for such a drastic shift to take place. My ascendant also resides in Aquarius, and my soul is telling me that it is my personal duty to make the most of the forces that are present in the universe during this period. This means I must cast my fears aside, fully synergize with my surroundings and become one of many torch-wielders for The Great Rebalancing. Words are the most powerful thing on Earth, therefore I must use them to guide whoever chooses to follow.
Consider this your sneak peek into what Grace shall bestow upon you. Consider this the nudge you’ve unknowingly been waiting for to begin whatever preparations you deem necessary for the times ahead. Consider this, like the breath in our lungs and a smile from a passerby, a gift.
Because isn’t someone saying to you: “the collective death we are about to experience is something to behold, not fear” one of the greatest gifts of all?
With love,
Your G.F. x

Thank you for writing this! Your name being Grace is so fitting. Your essence is the inspiration that we’re going to need moving into this next cycle 🌀
The mentioning of death in this makes me really rehash my thoughts on death; it’s a force that exists and instead of fearing it mayhaps acknowledge its place in our ever changing process of being human? Including socioeconomically? Hmm🤔…another profound read can’t wait for more of Grace to come
